Immunization

Jim Myers Health & Wellness is now offering immunizations. A Registered Pharmacist and a Licensed Practical Nurse are available to give immunizations at our Health & Wellness Center. We will provide you Physician with documentation of the immunization you receive.

Blood Pressure Screening

We offer free blood pressure screening at any time.

Medication Therapy Monitoring

Jim Myers Health & Wellness provides a Personal Pharmacist Program call Medication Therapy Monitoring. This program is specially designed to help you avoid drug complications, organize your medications and help you save money. This service is covered by most Medicare Part D prescription drug programs.

Our Registered Pharmacist will meet with you to review your complete medication profile one-on-one. This includes prescription and non-prescription drugs, herbal products and nutritional supplements. This is done to ensure that medications are being taken as prescribed, to check for drug interactions and duplication. This will assist you to appropriately use over-the-counter (OTC) medications and help in the selection of the correct vitamins and supplements.

Medication Therapy Management can also provide cost-saving opportunities by checking "Preferred Drug Lists," "Formularies," as well as generic and OTC availability. Our Pharmacist will assist you in the using of the most cost-effective generic brand and non-prescription medications. This often results in cost savings to you and your insurance company.

Educational Presentations

We offer educational presentations to senior groups or businesses. Topics include cholesterol management, cardiovascular diseases or medication therapy monitoring, etc. Please call to inquire about these services.

Cholesterol Screening

Jim Myers Health & Wellness is excited to again offer cholesterol screening. This screening is for a complete Lipid Profile, which includes Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL and Triglycerides.
